Overview
You will set the reliability targets for the platform and remove the causes of repeat incidents. This is a fully remote role for candidates in the US, built around dashboards, runbooks, and blameless written reviews, with an on-call rotation shared across the team.
What you will do
- Define service level objectives and track them with engineering teams.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and recovery on Kubernetes.
- Lead incident response and write blameless reviews afterward.
- Find and reduce infrastructure cost without hurting reliability.
What you bring
- 5+ years in SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
- Deep working knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux, and networking.
- Fluent with Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability tools.
- Comfortable writing production automation in Python or Go.
